Not just any hot dogs, but all-beef franks loaded with topping combinations Charlotte had never seen before, hand-seasoned and served with the kind of care that makes people come back twice a week.

Word spread fast. The food cart became a food truck. The food truck built a loyal following across Charlotte. And eventually, Q opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant at 8432 Old Statesville Road - a real home base for a brand that had already proven itself on the streets.
